Who we are.
Founder Jennifer Altieri created Kindness Shared out of her desire for every child to experience happiness, love and kindness.
Since it's creation in 2015 Kindness Shared has grown from smaller, seasonal kindness projects to full time kindness programs. Including the addition of rescue animals and therapy programs.
Jen and her husband Scott are committed to the mission, to distribute happiness to kids and animals. Together they balance the daily needs of Kindness Shared.
Kindness Shared is 100% volunteer
and all programs are fee free for participants.
What we do.
Serving both kids in need and rescue animals we connect kids to the unconditional love given by animals. The children relate and find inspiration from the special needs stories of our animals. The animals receive love, kindness and the highest level of care.
We provide animal programs and non-animal programs. Included but not limited to:
Project Pack A Sack ~ Feeding elementary school children on the weekends and holidays who do not have access to food at home.
Foster Care Programs specifically created to distribute happiness to the kids/teens living at HomeSafe group foster home, in therapeutic care
Kindness in words creates confidence.
Kindness in thinking creates profoundness.
Kindness in giving creates love.
